Born to Ruby Willis Carter and Wilbur Clinton Carter, Sr., John was the sixth of seven brothers, and is survived by his younger brother, William Ray Carter, and many caring nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life to be held on January 13, 2024 at Richmond Coach from 2-5pm; 8500 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, Virginia 23228.

Mr. Carter was one of the sweetest and kindest men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. His loss is surely great but it brings me peace to know that he is no longer suffering. He has been restored in Christ's grace with his loving wife Alyce. Prayers and condolences to the entire family.
