John Rudolph McGill

January 25, 1936 - September 14, 2024

John Rudolph McGill, 88, exited his remarkable life much the same way he did everything else with purpose, dignity and grace on September 14, 2024 in Richmond, VA, surrounded by his family. He was a deeply beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandpa, great-grandfather, uncle, brother and friend, and a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Natalie; his children, Jennifer Halloran (Jim Lucero), Elizabeth Graviet (Clint), Johnny McGill (Sara), and David McGill (Michelle); 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

All are invited to attend services held Monday, September 23, at 10 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 10660 Duryea Drive in Richmond; brief viewing at 9 a.m. The family will also receive visitors on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m., at the church. Interment with military honors will be held Tuesday, September 24, at 10 a.m., at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave, Richmond. More details at blileys.com/obituaries/
