John A. Pearman Jr.

PEARMAN, John A. Jr., 82, passed from this life into eternal life on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at home. Mr. Pearman was preceded in death by his father, John A. Pearman Sr.; his mother, Elsie H. Pearman of Providence Forge, Virginia; and his brother, James B. Pearman of Spotsylvania, Virginia. John was a native of New Kent County and attended New Kent High School. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Business Administration. He spent the majority of his career working for Southland Corporation and retired as a Regional Stores Merchandiser at the corporate offices in Orlando, Florida. "Oh thank heaven for 7-eleven!" John was fifty-year member of Mann Page Masonic Lodge #157 in Providence Forge, Va. John loved God, his Country, family and friends, Virginia Tech, Nascar and football. Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Aleen H. Pearman; his daughter, Lynn Pearman and her spouse, Tamara Panasenko of Midlothian, Virginia; his son, John A. Pearman III and his wife, Amy Pearman of Florida; granddaughter, Sarah K Rogers of Boston; grandson, Nathaniel A. Pearman of Florida; nephew, William F. Pearman; nieces, Kimberly Locke and Natalie Kasper; and brother-in-law, Lewis Harper. The family will meet and greet friends at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Crestwood Church, 1200 Charter Colony Parkway in Midlothian. A celebration of life service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church.
