John D. Smith, 92, of Henrico, died July 11, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene N. Smith. Surviving are two daughters, Linda D. Harrison and Diane Saunders (Anthony); four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; devoted nephew, Calvin Nichols; other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Sunday, July 21 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 22 at St. John Baptist Church, 4317 North Ave. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
