John Wright Obituary
John P. Wright, 72, passed away on August 23rd, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father, Dr. John Alexander Wright, Jr. and his mother, Catherine Wright. John is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nancy Wright and many cousins including Gary Pitts (Carolyn). His love for books kept the local bookstores in business. He will be remembered for his eclectic taste in movies and books as well as his love for theater and museums. There will be a Funeral Mass at The Cathedral of Sacred Heart on Tuesday, September 3rd at noon followed by a private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Covenant House or the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.
