ABEL, Joseph Casper, 92, of Midlothian, passed away from COVID-19 on January 8, 2021. Joe was predeceased by the love of his life, Dolly, married 66 years. He is survived by son, Michael (Debbie); daughter, Denise (John); son, Mark (Sandy); sister, Louise; 10 grandchildren, Robert, Laura, Ross, Nicole, Jennifer, Shellie, Savannah, Griffin, Michael and Kara; and six great-grandchildren. Joe was a Navy veteran and was retired from Reynolds Metals with four decades of service. He most loved his family, home improvement projects, sailing, playing with his grandkids, making homemade pastries, playing cards, reading and his favorite Kentucky bourbon. Joe will be interred alongside Dolly at Mount Calvary Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
