Joe was always one of the nicest guys around. He was friendly with everyone and everyone considered him a friend. The last time I saw him we just happened upon each other in NYC and we talked and joked as though it was 1 day and not one year since we had spoken. Missing him still.

Joe,
I am just now learning of your passing. We used to play together as kids at Randolph, and I remember you growing into a tall, handsome, mature and forward-thinking young man. I can't believe you are no longer here in body, but your great and loving spirit will live on. You had the greatest father and grandmother...I remember them both very fondly. Peace to you, my brother.

I remember Joe bringing me my first goldfish for Christmas and I still have the picture of he and I standing out in front Second Baptist Church when I was about 3 years old and I can't help but smile. I miss and love you and will always hold you dearly in my heart.

Joe and I go back as far as I can remember. He was my best friend. I miss him so much and if he was here we would be laughing and cutting up like we always did. He would have been spoiling my girls so much. Know Joe that my heart still aches for you but I know you are in a better place. Love you my brother. Audrey Claiborne Robinson
