Joseph Myers Obituary

MYERS, Mr. Joseph Anthony, 1921 to 2021.

Joseph Anthony Myers passed away in Brentwood, Tenn. on March 15, 2021.

He was born in Richmond, Va. on August 25, 1921. He graduated from the Benedictine College and served in the Signal Corps in WWII. He joined AT&T as a lineman in 1946 and retired in 1983 as Vice President of Long Lines in Atlanta, Ga. He spent many happy years in Hilton Head Island, S.C. after retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Meagher Myers. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Frank C. and Mary Rankin Myers, of Richmond, Va.; and by a son, Joseph Bruce Myers.

He is survived by two sons, G. Clinton (Valeria) Myers of Georgetown, S.C. and Kevin J. (Michelle) Myers of Brentwood, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Nicholas, Charlotte, Elizabeth and Charles Myers.

A service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Richmond, Va. on Sept 24, 2021.
