One memory sticks out with Joe with me.
When I was a little boy, Joe would come over from next door. She and I would get on our front porch swing and she would tell me stories.
One day, right in the middle of her story. I said to Joe, "Hey Joe, your house is on fire". She turned and looked at me with a big smile and said, "Oh no Billy, my house is not on fire". I said back to her "yes it is and she said, "no it's not". We went back and forth for a couple of minutes. After the exchange, we just sat there and laughed non-stop.
Since then, overtime we saw each other she would mention this to me and all I could do was smile at her.
I wanted to share this little story with the family.
When I got the phone call from my mother that Joe has passed away. I pulled away from my desk and the fist thing I thought of was that story. All I could do was smile.
Joe will be deeply missed.
I love Joe...
God Bless,
Billy

Mrs Dillon will be greatly missed; I loved to hear her say "darlin" and will always remember her and our February birthday dinner with my dad: she was so comical, wanting the waitress to 'bring more napkins' and she would giggle. What a spirited lady and I am thankful I had the opportunity to know her. And I will treasure our conversations on Monday and Tuesday before she left for her heavenly home.
