June Connie Duckworth

June Connie Duckworth, 67, of Kilmarnock, Va., passed away Thursday, April 6, 2006. She was a member and past deacon of Kilmarnock Baptist Church. She was presently serving as Worthy Matron in King Charter Chapter #5 Order of the Eastern Star, Kilmarnock, Va. June was Past Worthy Matron of Mt. Vernon Chapter #178 Order of the Eastern Star from 1978 to 1979, and Oriental Chapter #30 Order of the Eastern Star from 1997 to 1998 and 2001 to 2002. June was also a member of the Rappahannock Civic Club. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmy Cooke and Norman Duckworth. She was survived by her close friend, Don Conn of Kilmarnock, Va.; and four daughters, Celeste Janine Marshall of Stafford, Va., Connie June Holder and husband, Keith, of Stafford, Christine Jean Green and husband, Keith, of Fredericksburg, Va. and Cassandria Jane Nash and husband, Randy, of Stafford, Va.; brother, Nickolas Joseph Lafragiola of Stanley, Va.; and eight grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2006, in Kilmarnock Baptist Church. Burial will be private at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Kilmarnock Baptist Church, P.O. Box 99, Kilmarnock, Va. 22482. Faulkner Family Funeral Home & Crematory, Burgess, Va., will be handling the arrangements.
