Kathleen Bordonie Obituary

Kathleen Trent Bordonie, 83, of Richmond, passed away Monday, May 22, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Charlie Bordonie Sr.; children, Emily O. Burge, Burton L. Owen Jr. and wife, Patricia, Charles Bordonie Jr. and Rhonda Atkinson; seven grandchildren, Robin Lynn Newton, Ricky Burge, DeAnna Kiser, Robbie Burge, Sidney Richardson, Doug Sims and Terry Adams; a host of nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Power; one brother, Irvin Trent. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ina Mae and Pleasant Trent; and her sisters and brothers, Louise Kaloski, Irene Aldred, Harold Trent and David Trent. Mrs. Bordonie was a retired employee of Hill Directory Co. and a member of Elko Union Church. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 25, at Elko Union Church, 6861 Elko Rd., Sandston, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
