Kyle Richardson Obituary
Mr. Richardson was born in Great Falls, MT on Dec. 12, 1963. He graduated from Lloyd C. Bird High School in 1982 and studied engineering at Virginia Tech. Later he graduated from the Culinary Institute of America - NYC and managed a Jamaican restaurant in Greenwich Village.
He was treated for a rare brain tumor in 1991. The treatment, however, diminished his stamina and eventually prevented him from continuing his career.
Mr. Richardson is remembered for his love of puns, puzzles, music and science fiction. The family is grateful for Kyle's many friends over the years.
He is survived by his parents, Lauretta and Glenn Richardson Sr. of Richmond; his siblings Glenn Richardson, Jr. of Woodstock, VA, Seth I. Richardson (Lisa) of Scottsville, VA, Ross O. Richardson (Tracy) of Williamsburg, VA, and Elizabeth A. Mosher (Jonathan) of Midlothian, VA. He is also survived by his niece, Laurel R. Foss (Joe), and grand niece Fruszina L. Foss of Portland, OR, and nephews E. Walker Richardson of Los Angeles, CA, and Reed O. and Kyle R. Richardson of Williamsburg. He was preceded in death by nephew Nathan P. Richardson of Scottsville.
A memorial gathering will be held later this summer.

I knew Kyle (and his sister Betsy) in high school....he graduated a year before I did. I just remember how easygoing and good-natured he was, and it was an honor to have him as a friend. I'm very sorry to read of his passing. My deepest condolences go out to the Richardson family. Rest in peace, Kyle.
