Lacy Craft Obituary

Lacy Dawese Craft, 74, of 326 Forest Springs Dr., passed away Tuesday morning, March 14, 2006 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born December 28, 1931 in Covington, Va., the son of the late Otho Estelle and Roxie Russett Entsminger Craft. Mr. Craft was a member of the Presbyterian Church. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was retired from the ACI Glass Company in Richmond. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, George Lacy Craft; and two brothers, Clinton and A.B. Craft. Survivors include his wife, Junella L. Craft; one daughter, Judith Craft Culver and her husband, Neale; three grandchildren, Dustin Wayne Young, Carah Elizabeth Culver and Carley Neale Culver; three brothers, Otho Jr., Gerald and Norman Craft; four sisters, Marie Leffell, Velma Bland, Myrtle Sellers and Brenda Smith; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service, 1870 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft by Chaplain Mark Westebbe. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O. Box 215, Fishersville, Va. 22939.
