Larry Agee Obituary
Larry was born on January 10, 1947 in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late William and Katherine Agee. After high school, Larry served his country in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970. On February 13, 1971, Larry married the love of his life, Deborah "Debbie" (Jenkins). Larry worked in the telecommunications field for decades in various roles and companies.
Larry was a man of service, first to his country and later to his community and church. He volunteered for the Virginia Jaycees, Boy Scouts, Atlee Little League, Blue Star Football, Trail Life and the East End Pregnancy Center. Larry was also a long time member of his church. Larry also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Larry is survived by his wife, Debbie; his daughter, Michele Voss; and grandson, Gavin; son, Greg Agee; brothers, Michael (Judy) and Kevin (Brenda).
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roy Wayne Agee (Hydee Finch-Agee); and son-in-law, Ted Voss.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 10 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. at Cool Spring Baptist Church, 9283 Atlee Station Road, Mechanicsville, Va. 23116. Condolences to all of his beloved family. We are sure your loss is immense. Sending prayers for strength for all of you. We knew him through the Board of Directors for the Crossings at the Vinings. He was a constant resource for my husband who tried to step into his shoes tracking finances for our community. May God keep you all at this difficult time.
