Lee Odell Glasco

February 25, 1948 - September 22, 2024

Lee Odell Glasco, "Odell", 76, of Beaverdam, VA passed away at his home on September 22, 2024. Odell was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Carrie Murphy Glasco and brother, Willie Nelson Glasco. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna Ehrlich Glasco and son, Bradley August Glasco (Megan) and 4 grandchildren, Luke, Emma and twins Kate and Chase, all joys of his life. He is survived by his siblings Gerald, Richard (Bobbi), Joan Glasco and June (Bobby) Runquist, all of Beaverdam.

Odell loved playing baseball as a child and continued with softball until he was 35. He enjoyed coaching and watching his son participate in sports, now followed his grandchildren in baseball and ballet. He raised fox hounds and participated in field trials over the years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a longtime member of the Beaverdam Hunt Club.

He retired early from West Engineering with 40 of service due to a motor vehicle accident. He was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. He was a caring and thoughtful person and was always concerned of his friends and family's well-being, speaking to several of these persons daily.

A Celebration of Life for close family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice or to The American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.

Dear Donna, Bradley and family,

We are deeply saddened to learn about Odell's passing, and we have keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
You were very blessed to have him for so many years in your lives and we hope you cherished every single moment that you had together with him.
When we heard about his accident in late 2008, we kept him in our prayers and God allowed him to make a full and complete recovery so everyone could witness both the power of prayer and see a miracle happen. We pray that he is in Heaven now living a new life full of eternal joy and looking forward to the day when we too will join him there.

Please accept of deepest condolences during your time of grief and loss.
