Leigh Kreider Obituary
Leigh Trotter Kreider passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025 in North Myrtle Beach surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of I. Edward Trotter Jr. and Mary Brame Trotter, Leigh was born September 24, 1957 in Lynchburg, Va. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James "Jim" P. Kreider; and her two sons, James E. Kreider (Shana), and David R. Kreider (Laura). She is also survived by her two brothers, Isham Edward "Nick" Trotter III (Jennifer) and Mitchell Trotter (Susan). She is preceded in death by her parents.
Leigh grew up in Lynchburg and graduated from Seven Hills School before graduating from the University of Richmond with a bachelor's degree in finance.
In lieu of flowers, Leigh and the family would appreciate donations to the Lymphoma Research Foundation, American Cancer Society, or The Humane Society or to a local animal shelter.
A memorial service for Leigh will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church, 3712 Weems Rd., Weems, VA 22576. Inurnment will follow the service in the family plot in Urbanna, Va.
