Our condolences to the Bray family and to the Christ Center family. Pastor Bray was a man who wore many hats. But with all those hats he was always a man of God. He was my mentor, he was my friend. He was a man of legacy and a man of history.

Where do I begin?
How do I even start?
I didn't think this would hurt so bad
Lord heal this broken heart
I should have been around more
Wish I had never left
Cause now I feel a sense of shame
A choice that I regret
The things I wish I told you
How much you changed my life
Young and wanting to go left
You tugged and pulled me right
I hope you're looking down on me
Helping me find my way
I thank God that I had you here
Forever my Pastor Bray.

Mr. Bray was such a strong man and he was a fighter. I did not have the opportunity to get to know him well, but I was able to get a feel for what a wonderful man he was, by interacting with his family that loved and adored him so much. It was my pleasure to have the opportunity to meet them and to care for him. May God's love and the promise of heaven bring all of you peace and comfort during this difficult time. You all are in my prayers.

I hope you know how much we love you guys❤ Mr Bray was such a sweet man who loved talking about how lucky he was to have you Mrs Cynthia. We felt so blessed to have Mr Bray pray for Evelyn on her first day of school and will miss seeing him sitting out by his fire pit every morning or riding his bike around town. Our hearts are broken for you and his family, but we know he’s resting in the sweet arms of Jesus. We love you and our hearts and prayers are with you guys.m❤

To the family of Rev. Dr. Leroy Bray Jr., our hearts are sadden. Rev. Bray's memories in our community will never be forgotten. He baptized me at age 5 yrs old, as well as my younger Brother and lots of my cousins in the mid to late 70's. We thank God for the time we were able to worship with him at Mt. Salem Baptist Church. He always spoke encouraging words to the parents and children with a smile. He will be missed, but his legacy shall continue to live on. Our sincere condolences and prayers to the family!
