Megan, I am truly sorry over your mom's passing. My mother died also of the same disease but she lingered from 79 to 91. It is a miserable thing to have. When I visited one time, she not only did not recognize me but was very vocal in denying I was her daughter. It is hard to be near the person who denies their relationship. She was a rock in the troop and I enjoyed her companionship a lot. Remember the time we had car trouble.
