FORD, Linda Simms, 68, of New Haven, Conn., formerly of Richmond, received her wings Friday, July 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles A. Ford Jr.; and sister, Gale Simms. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Charles A. Ford Sr.; children, Charmelia Ford, Emmanuel Ford, Charles Stevenson, Christopher Ford; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; parents, Herman J. and Bettie M. Simms; siblings, Carolyn Robinson, Catherine, Hazel and Sarah Simms; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021; family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Celebration of Life service 1 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2021 at March Funeral Home, with livestreaming available. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.

I worked with Linda in the chairman"s office for many years. I was honored to call her my friend. She was a kind and gentle person. She loved her family ! My thoughts and prayers go out to Linda`s family. May she Rest In Peace
