She is also survived by her four children, William (Billy) Spott IV (Donia), Nicole Midulla (Sal), Jennifer Spott (Andrew) and Ashton Mitchell IV (Rebecca); her eight loving grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Linda was a graduate of Douglas Freeman and worked for Henrico County Public Schools for over 30 years. She was a fun-loving, loyal friend and loving grandmother who will always be the heart of our family. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Charity Wonah-Hakpon (St. Sarah's Assisted Living) and her devoted family for the care and love they have given to Linda for the past two years. We are also grateful for the Bon Secours Hospice Team that has supported us through this time. Due to COVID-19, the family has requested a private Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Linda's name to St. Sarah's Assisted Living so they can continue providing wonderful care to Alzheimer patients (St. Sarah's Assisted Living, 9409 Lester Ln., Henrico, Va. 23229). Linda was one of the kindest people I know. She loved her family more than anything in the world. If you were her friend, you were her friend for ever. We had wonderful times for many years at my home in Nags Head. Rest In Peace dear Linda.

I´m deeply saddened by the loss of such a wonderful woman. Mrs. Mitchell treated me like a daughter and looked over me in my troublesome teen years. She was a gift to many of us, I am so sorry to her family for her passing. I will always think of her fondly- truly one of the best. Praying for peace for you all. May she Rest In Peace and smile hard in Heaven.
