Linda: As your father "reaps" the rewards of a faithful, Christian life, one of his fondest memories will be the way that you and Ernie provided tender, loving care for him in your home during his last earthly days. Blessings to you all.

Linda, Jill, Rusty, and I share your sorrow at Brother Camplong's absence from you, but we rejoice with you that your father has gone to receive his reward and is now in the presence of the Lord, praising God face to face for all the wonderful things that God did for him and through him.
Lloyd Camplong taught the Bible well because he loved God's Word, studied it carefully, and shared it freely. He and Jean were great prayer warriors and taught others to be the same. Through teaching, praying, showing hospitality, and simply loving others, they were a wonderful team for God. When Jean went to be with the Lord, he did a remarkable job of continuing his ministry. You indeed have a godly heritage in Christ Jesus.
Dad, Walter A. Clark, is in Greenville Place Assisted Living Center on Pelham Road in Greenville, South Carolina, the hometown of his wife. Upon learning of your father's death Wednesday night, I recalled that he had asked Dad to have his funeral service whenever he went to be with the Lord; however, the last time Dad saw Brother Camplong, Dad asked to be released from that promise because he himself recognized that he was growing older (he himself was 84 in January) and might not get to fulfill that promise. Perhaps the two of them will soon be together to worship around the heavenly throne.
Meanwhile, our family is praying for God to allow Dad to see Leonard's son, who is to be born in May and is to be named for Dad. On Wednesday of this week Dad saw Jill's first grandchild, a beautiful baby girl, born to Erin and her husband on Mother's birthday, March 14. He prayed a prayer of dedication for her that day.
We will remember you and your family in prayer. May the Holy Spirit comfort you now and in the days to come.
