Loretta Beech Obituary

BEECH Loretta Elizabeth "Liz" Beech was born on February 28, 1932 in Richmond, Virginia to George and Adeline Johnson. She was educated in the Richmond Public Schools. She entered eternal rest on January 15. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Darrel Morgan Beech; sisters, Bernice Johnson and Ophelia Davis; and brother, Earl Johnson. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Melody Forrester and partner, Ericka Johnson; sister, Katherine D. Wright (George), who was always by her side; niece, Tiffany Green (George); sisters-in-law, Francena Beech, Vivian Ayers and Lois Jacobs; brother-in-law, Sabur Hakim; stepson, Russell Beech (Alicia); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains rest at the W.S. Watkins & Son Funeral Home, 2700 North Ave., where the family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be conducted at Riverview Cemetery on Saturday, January 20 at 1 p.m. Rev. Gregory Fisher officiating.
