Loretta Ellixson Riddle Perry, 86, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, in Henrico, Va. Born to Graham James Ellixson and Beulah Anne Ellixson in Halifax County, Va., Loretta lived a life full of faith, compassion, kindness, and unwavering strength. Loretta was highly regarded by her family, friends, and everyone who had the opportunity to know her. She was known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and dedication to her faith and community. She will be deeply missed, but her love, laughter, and wisdom will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Loretta is survived by her two children, Garnett L. "Budd" Riddle, Jr. (Cheryl), Elizabeth "Casey" Riddle Speas (Joey); her brother, William Lawrence Ellixson; her aunt, Hillard Buchanan Powers; as well as two nieces and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held on November 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Derbyshire Baptist Church, 8800 Derbyshire Road, Henrico, Va. More information at https://tinyurl.com/Loretta-Riddle-Perry-Obituary.
