Louanne Carnwath, born on November 29, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024, in Midlothian, VA. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Carnwath; her two daughters Maggie Jackson and Lorin Nguyen; and son Andrew Carnwath. Louanne was devoted to her grandchildren, including Adelina Carnwath, Matthew Jackson, Katherine Jackson, and Henry Nguyen, and held a special place in her heart for her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Garcia, and sons-in-law, Matt Jackson and Bryant Nguyen. Louanne was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Anna (Semanik)Hopkins. Throughout her life, Louanne found joy in gathering with friends for games of bridge. She had a creative spirit, and enjoyed painting, sewing, crafting, and needlework. She loved to read and her fondness for the beach provided many cherished moments with family. Louanne was a devoted member of Manakin Episcopal Church, where she served faithfully in various roles. Louanne will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Louanne Carnwath at Manakin Episcopal Church 985 Huguenot Trl., Midlothian, VA, on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 2 p.m. with Virginia DiStanislao officiating. The family invites those who knew and loved her to join them in celebrating her life. Memorial donations can be made in Louanne's name to Manakin Episcopal Church in Midlothian, VA.
