Margaret Jackson Obituary

Margaret "Meg" T. Jackson

Apr 30, 1940 - Feb 15, 2026

Margaret "Meg" Testerman Jackson peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 15, 2026 in the comforts of her home of 60 years after enduring a battle her body could no longer handle. She is predeceased by her parents, William L. and Danie H. Testerman; husband, William J. Wyatt; brother, William (Billy) Testerman; sister, Louise C. Norris; brother, Fred Testerman, Sr.; husband, Harold S. Jackson, Sr.; and sister, Mary Ellen Thompson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Reneé Wyatt; grandchildren, Jackson Wyatt (April); great-grandson, Bryson, and Courtney Carroll (Noah); great-granddaughter, Oliva; son and daughter-in-law, Harold, Jr. (Hal) and Tracey Jackson; granddaughter, Sara Sharp (Hunter); daughter, Stephanie Jackson Smith; grandchildren, Jacob LaMack (Jade); great-grandson, Colsen, and Elizabeth LaMack; brother, Bob Testerman; sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Robert Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.

Meg was born and raised in Glad Spring, Va., and moved to Richmond with son, Alan, after losing her mother, first love/husband and little brother in an horrific accident, to attend MCV School of Nursing. She met her second love of 47 years, worked as a nurse at various hospitals and doctor's offices and raised three loving children. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She loved spending time with her family, reading, watching Hallmark movies - any good love story movie, and spending as much time as she could at the beach. Meg was a sweet devout Christian lady, a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for 44 years, a legacy of faith, hope and love and leaves a legacy of faith, hope and love. Simply put - she loved 'love.'

A memorial service will be held at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234 on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 4 p.m. Following the service, a celebration of life will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 3801 Beulah Rd., Richmond, VA 23237.
