I would like to offer my condolences to the family of Miss Marion. I was a hospice volunteer and had 8 beautiful visits with Marion. We talked about her time in Waverly, her time as a nurse, her mother“s garden where as a child she would collect flowers to place on headstones at the cemetery. Sometimes Marion would wince with a twinge of discomfort and proclaim quickly "Ooh Lord Jesus". I have since adopted that phrase :)
She loved having her head scratched and she had a great laugh. She was my very first patient as a volunteer and I am so grateful for our time together.
I will remember her fondly. May she rest in eternal peace.
