Marjorie Arenstein Obituary

Marjorie Watts Arenstein, of Richmond, died peacefully at her home, Monday, January 10, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Arenstein. She is survived by her children, Judy, Joan, Ric and Rhona Arenstein; grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Deborah Arenstein and Brian Brown; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Evelyn and Granger Brown; and two loving caregivers, Doris Terry and Althinia Hunt. Mrs. Arenstein was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She graced Richmond's stages as the leading lady in dozens of theatrical productions for three decades. She was also active in the Richmond Jewish community, in which she and her husband, David, raised their children. A funeral service will be held 12 noon Wednesday at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Central Chapel, 3801 Augusta Ave. Interment Hebrew Cemetery, 5th and Hospital Streets. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Barksdale Theatre, 1601 Willow Lawn Drive, Richmond, Va. 23230.
