Marley White Obituary

WHITE, Marley Jackson "Buster", 96, of Goochland, was called home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara; and grandson, Chad Dempesis. He is survived by his children, Cindy Dempeis (Gene), Wanda Bates (Bubba), Ginger Parrish (Rodney), Kelly Cooke (Jeff), Marlene Whitlock, Ron and Don White; a sister, Bernadine Meeks; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and his beloved dog, Bitsy. Buster was a founding member of Centerville Co. #3 Fire Dept. and a proud WWII veteran. There will be a memorial service to celebrate his life on Wednesday, June 2, at 6 p.m. at St. Matthew's UMC, 1706 St. Matthew's Lane, Richmond, Va. 23233. The family will receive visitors from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Centerville Co. #3 Fire and Rescue. Masks are required at the church.
