Michael Carlton Obituary
He was proceeded in death by his parents, James and Madge Carlton. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Donna; sons Ryan (Chastity) and BJ (Caitlyn); nine grandchildren; sister Barbara Patterson (Brad); brother Dennis Carlton; three nephews and two nieces.
Mike spent many years working with his family at Carlton's Country Store in Varina where much of the community would shop and gather for conversations on the front porch.
His passion for racing started at the age of 16, which included drag racing and dirt track racing. Over the years he formed many lifelong friendships with the racing community.
Mikes other passions included fishing, hunting, and going to the local turkey shoots and spending time with his beloved family.
A Memorial Service will be held at Four Mile Creek Baptist Church on September 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow. The church address is 2950 New Market Road, Richmond, VA 23231.
