Michael Edwin Estes

Michael Edwin Estes, 49, of Richmond, died Saturday, December 21, 2002. He was a graduate of Douglas Freeman High School and was a member of River Road United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Thomasson Estes. He is survived by his father, Charles Edwin Estes; his stepmother, Susan Eister Estes; his sister, Martha Estes Grover and her husband, John Gordon Grover; two nieces, Elizabeth Gordon Grover and Dorothy Estes Grover; nephew, John Estes Grover; cousins, Nan Owen Wilson of Newport Beach, Calif., Jane Owen Duckworth of Atlanta, Ga. and numerous other cousins who were very special to Mike. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home’s Central Chapel, 3801 Augusta Ave., where the family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at River Road United Methodist Church, followed by a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Cemetery, Chase City, Va.
