So sorry to hear of Milly's homegoing. She was a bright spot to us at The William Byrd. Prayers of comfort to her friends and family at the loss of this special lady that many of us at The William Byrd Senior Apartments called a friend.

I have so many great memories of art adventures with Milly. We used to enter group shows together & go to all the openings. She was quirky, pragmatic, fiercely independent & generous. She was, without fail, Always Color-Coordinated. I loved her sense of humor. I remember when she came up with the idea to kill all the grass in her front yard and replace the lawn with stones, mosaics and succulents. Her reason: why be a slave to the lawnmower if you can create art, instead? It made perfect sense. Milly was a loyal & supportive friend who I could always count on to be there if I needed help. I really regret I did not work harder to stay in touch in her later years when she was really struggling. Milly, now that you´re freed from the burdens of this earth, I hope your heaven is full of beautiful, endless color. Godspeed, My Friend.

Painterly talent, a sense of beauty, and a complex spirit went into the "tiger tea table" - once seen, never forgotten!
