Myrtle Jones Obituary

JONES, Myrtle M., 90, of Henrico, received her wings Wednesday, June 30, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James E. Jones Sr.; daughters, Veronica Jones and Cheryl Fleming; brothers, Vermont Kenney and Woodrow Blakey. She leaves to cherish her loving memories daughter, Diane Pinkney (Michael); sons, James E. Jones Jr. (Halima) and Vincent Jones (Tracy); sister, Theresa Woolfork; brother, Rev. Louis Blakey; bonus daughters, Thelma Matthews, Juanita Crockett, Rev. Carolyn Winston; grandchildren, Chantae Fleming, Jazmine Douglas, Jahson Carrington, Jerry Fleming, James Jones III, Rania Jones and Fatima Jones; 18 great-grandchildren; devoted friends, Evangelist Julia Candia Chrisp and Joan Groome; a host of other loving relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021. Celebration of Life service 11 a.m. July 10, 2021 at East End Assembly of God, 3294 Britton Road. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
