I remember Nadine from serving her pancakes at the Shrove Tuesday pancake suppers at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Petersburg. Her brother John was our Verger at St. Paul's. He was committed to dining with Nadine every Wednesday evening and she was always pleased to come to St. Paul's and eat pancakes on a Tuesday evening. She and John are together again.
