Nettie Alexander Christian

Nettie Alexander Christian, 76, widow of William Philip Christian Jr., went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 1, 2003. She was a member of Gethsemane Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, William Philip Christian III and his wife, Gwen, and Randy Donald Christian and his wife, Ann; two daughters, Marjorie C. Graves and her husband, Edward, and Kathy C. Masters and her husband, Randy; one sister, Loraine A. Dusenberry and her husband, Dick; eight grandchildren, David Christian and his wife, Theresa, Michael Christian and his wife, Gina, Brian Christian, Todd Graves, Kevin Masters, Tina G. Fearnow and her husband, Marty, Travis Masters and his wife, Christina, and Phil Christian and his wife, Stacey; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Bryson Christian; special cousins, Cecile Moore and her family, and Brooks Williams and his family; special nephew and niece, Jimmy Jenkins and Connie Newcomb; one sister-in-law, Lois Jenkins and her family; and all other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee Davis Rd. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2003, at Gethsemane Church of Christ with interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gethsemane Church of Christ Building Fund.
