A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18th at the Bennett Funeral Homes Mechanicsville Chapel, 8014 Lee Davis Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory, to the VCU ALS Association.

I was going through FB and stumbled upon Lee Brooks post of Nicks passing. Nick and I use to cruise Broad Street when it was cool 1980 -1984.Knew his folks and his Dads business I had meet Nick in Mr.Butlers class at Patrick Henry H.S he was a good and close friend. God bless your family and I pray for those who you left behind you were my Best friend in High School, I will truly miss you, Buddy.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Fisher family, especially Ed, Anke, & Roy, whom I knew through ESSI. I met Nick out at his auto parts yard in Kilmarnock many years ago, and he struck me as a very fine Gentleman. I just learned of his passing on Saturday through an ESSI friend.

Greetings everyone:
Ladies and gentlemen it is a privilege and an honor to speak on behalf of Mr. Nicholas Fisher. First, I would like to thank God and Mrs. Maricor Fisher for allowing me to share my heart felt condolences with all of you. As an employee and friend to Nick it saddens me to know that we will no longer be with him on this earthly journey but with a delighted spirit we can remember a man who courageously with bravery fought ALS. I worked many years with Nick gracing stages performing as a Singer, Entertainer, and Emcee/Karaoke DJ. And two years ago Mr. Fisher allowed me to Emcee with his equipment. It was on Father's Day, which was also my birthday. I cried because he gave me and opportunity to enhance my knowledge with setting up stages to do Karaoke Shows. He was like a God sent brother to me that I will always cherish. Nick would always tell me you are my Superstar. He trusted me to provide a service to make an honest wage. People, Nick Fisher was an admirable and Honorable gentlemen that made dreams come true for me and many others by spreading joy and love through music. I am very proud to say that because of my brother in Christ Nicholas Fisher, men like him help to make the world a better place. In closing my next musical selection is the THE WAY WE WERE by Barbara Streisand. This song will reflect on our love, beautiful appreciations, and joyous memories of Mr. Nicholas Fisher. My deepest heartfelt sincerity, sympathy, love and condolences to Maricor, Reid, Anke, Roy and Mr.Ed Fisher. To God be the Glory.
