Pat was a great, great friend and even greater raconteur. I miss him and, through him, my connection to his wonderful wife and loving companion, Kay. He was a major force in the Richmond real estate community and he significantly enhanced the style, integrity, character and professionalism of his great law firm. The world is less fun without him.

I simply can't wrap my head around this. From the moment of our engagement, Mr. M was there for us. My husband was his physical therapist years before. He and Kay were at our wedding, and the reception was held at Rockefellas. We would meet periodically for lunch and at birthday celebrations. We are already missing him. We never knew he passed away as Chris had lunch with him not long before his passing. My heart is broken. Best to Kay.

I was Mr. MILMOE'S physical therapy many years ago at Westminster Canterbury after he returned home. I was able to rehab him from walking with a walker to independently, so he could resume walking his beloved Sonny. I loved listening to his stories, especially his proudest athletic achievement-holding NBA icon Jerry West to under 50 points in college. He told me he ran into West a few years ago, and Jerry remembered that game from decades ago. After his rehab, I joined Mr and Mrs Milmoe many times at Rockefellas restaurant. Every time I saw him I asked him if he was doing his exercises. His reply was always "no, but I really should start those exercises again." When I got remarried in 2018, he hosted our reception at Rockefellas. He saw my youngest son play age group basketball a few years ago, heckling him to dunk the ball. " My son shocked by the catcall, stopped dribbling and replied "Mr Milmoe, I'm only 9 years old. I can't dunk!" Over the last few years, I took Mr Milmoe to lunch every month or so at Angelo's. I joined him and Kay at many times for their birthdays at Princess Anne country club. I'm saddened and shocked by this news. I'd left several messages the last 6 weeks trying to schedule a lunch date. He never was one to return my messages, so I'm devastated by this news, especially missing the funeral. He was a great friend and father figure to me. I will really miss and cherish my time with him. I loved him. God bless you Mr Milmoe! My condolences to Kay and family.

He was a wonderful friend in law school, always
ready to engage, with empathy, wit and helpfulness. We were friendly classmates and shared mutual terrors and interests. Memorable after these 60 plus years.I was privileged to be his classmate and friend.

Pat and I shared many entertaining discussions about the NYO and the firms needs there. he was always someone I could count on to support some of the hard things we had to do in the early days to get off the ground there. he definitely has made his own unique mark on our firm.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Milmoe. My mother Janie Royal was his housekeeper for over 50 years. The bond that they had was unbreakable. My condolences to his loving family.
