Patsy Dixon Lucas

Patsy Dixon Lucas, 78, of Chesterfield, as of June 30, 2006 is present with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after a courageous battle with a longtime illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Katy Dixon of Plymouth, North Carolina; and her husband of 43 years, Swain S. Lucas. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, W. Chris Lucas and his wife, Sue, and Timothy S. Lucas and his wife, Lucia; three granddaughters, one great-granddaughter and a host of devoted friends. Her remains rest at Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road, where the family will receive friends Monday, July 3, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and where funeral services will also be held 12 noon Wednesday. Interment Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church Missions Fund.
