Peggy Lucy Reekes

REEKES, Peggy Lucy, age 72, of Lawrenceville, Va., passed away January 20, 2022. She is the daughter of the late Alvin and Jane Lucy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred "Freddie" M. Reekes; and her brother, Alvin Earl Lucy. She is survived by her daughters, Monica R. Morris and husband, Lee, Melissa R. Rose and husband, Howard and Melanie R. Newby and husband, Andrew; her grandchildren, Colton and Cullen Morris, Caleb and Cameron Rose and Elizabeth Newby; her brother, Michael Lucy and wife, Susan; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, Va. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
