"Lil pretty" is what he would say coming in the credit union. Years of knowing that he is Lattie´s brother, gave him the same respect. Hoping the family finds comfort knowing that he is resting, and know that he was a friend to many

Raymond was " The Greatest !!! " Where ever we went someone knew him , and if they didn´t , they were in for a treat ! We started hanging out when Ronald died in 2003 , and been best of friends since . He always had a story to tell about my family members , he´s the reason I know my family history . It´s going to be hard not having you around but I guess I´m going to have to spread the love you showed me because you sure knew how to make people smile !

Dear Dad,

I'm filled with grief as I write this letter, grappling with the pain of your sudden departure. You meant the world to me, and I can't imagine life without you. Now I must find solace in the memories we shared, from times spent with you on the baseball field, to watching the late-night Westerns on tv, which I never thought I'd do. Your love and guidance were invaluable, and I promise to honor your legacy.
I wanted to take a moment to express the depth of my love and gratitude for you. You have been a pillar of strength and a constant source of love and support in my life. Your unwavering presence has shaped me into the person I am today, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
Through the highs and lows, you have been there, cheering me on and offering guidance. Your wise words and gentle encouragement have given me the confidence to face life's challenges head-on. You have taught me the importance of resilience, integrity, and compassion, and I strive every day to live up to the example you have set.
Our bond goes beyond the title of father and daughter. You have been my confidant, my sounding board, and my biggest cheerleader. I cherish the memories we have created together, whether it be our heartfelt conversations, our shared laughter, or the simple moments of togetherness. These memories are the foundation of our connection and they bring me comfort and joy. I miss you deeply, and your presence will forever be with me.

With all my love,

Lisa

To Ray & Terri and the entire Dark Family, I extend my deepest condolences to you and your loved one "Ray Dark". I hope you find comfort in these words:
Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God also in Me. In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. On Friday, July 12, 2024, Mr. Dark's room was completed and he heard the Master's call; so he closed his weary eyes and took the Master's Hand. Remember it's okay to cry but we don't cry as the world does with no hope. You will see your dad and loved one again. You may find yourself sitting and thinking about something he might have said or done and might burst into tears or laugh. God will keep you and comfort you call on Him and He will be there.
Peace and Blessings

A fierce competitor in high school football, Raymond was my teammate on the John Marshall High School team in 1964. He made the team and the school better for his effort. And when little brother Jesse joined him, we knew things would be all right at the north side school.
