Rebecca "Becky" Faye Hewitt

Rebecca "Becky" Faye Hewitt, 80, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Born in Radford, VA, she was the daughter of the late Luther Ishmael and Grace Earles Conner; and was also preceded in death by her brother, David Conner. In her younger years, Becky had attended Radford University and enjoyed playing tennis. She had a love for her Lord and was a member of Chester United Methodist Church. Becky had a deep love for caring and supporting her family to include her beloved grandchildren and dog, Bo. Becky always put the needs of others before her own. She enjoyed reading books, completing Sudoku puzzles, and cheering for her grandchildren at their sports events. Mrs. Hewitt is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Wayne Hewitt; four sons, W. Mike Hewitt (Rie), Bert Hewitt, Jake Hewitt (Lori), and Zac Hewitt; six grandchildren, Maiko, Chase, Lane, Lila, Preston, and Clay; three siblings, Luther Conner, Jr. (Joy), Lynn Conner, and Dan Conner (Faye); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Becky's wishes, there will be a private celebration of life held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, near her hometown of Radford, VA. Online condolences may be conveyed to the family at www.jtmorriss.com.
