Mrs. Handly, I am so sorry for your loss and we will miss his friendly smile. I am sure he has joined my parents and they are remembering all the good times the families had together. Have comfort in your family and know that God will get you through this time.

Mrs. Handly, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. You might not remember me, but I surely remember you. I worked at Anderton's Dept. Store in the late 70's and early 80's. You were always one of my favorite people to see come through our doors. I was just married and very poor back then, but you made me feel rich. You inspired me and I carry your influence with me today. I remember how fondly you would speak of your husband. There was never a time that you didn't speak of "Bob". I remember how lively and fun you always were. I hope that life will give you many more happy memories while easing the pain of your husband's passing.

Such a shock to hear of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful employer when I worked for him and continued to be a great friend after our business relationship ended. Jennifer often talks about Mr. Handly's dog, Ralph, and how Bob allowed her to play with Ralph. We are also very grateful to Bob for his assistance with Kim's and Jennifer's admissions to St. Margarets.
Bob will be missed by many. God bless you and the family.

Dear Mrs. Handly,
I just cannot believe Mr. Handly was in his 80's. Where has the time gone? It just seems like yesterday we were all in Tappahannock and my parents were saying your names. I know Mom and Dad enjoyed your friendship whether it be fishing, playing bridge or general socializing. I am so sorry for your loss but hope that you can replace your tears with smiles as you remember the wonderful life you
had with your husband. He lived a very full life and accomplished much. But in the end family and friends matter most and they will always hold him in their hearts. God Bless you and your family.
