Robert "Boo" Tinsley

Mr. Robert "Boo" Tinsley, 89, of Columbia, Va., formerly of Horne Street, Richmond, Va., departed this life Sunday, July 23, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Young Tinsley. He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted son, Ricky Henson (Tawanna); one daughter, Pauline Burton (Wendell); nine grandchildren, one devoted, Wanda Green (Steve); and 14 great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Mary Lewis (Leroy) and Shirley Eldridge (Lloyd); one brother, Lewis Tinsley (Clara); two sisters, one devoted, Sallie Wells and Emma Wells; one brother-in-law, Fred Jacob Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, one devoted, Eugene Wells; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home, Goochland, Va., where the family will receive friends Thursday, July 27 (tonight), from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2006 at the Rising Mount Zion Baptist Church, Columbia, Va. Rev. Ambus Bailey officiating. Interment church cemetery.
