Roberta "Bebe" Hudgins Walsh, currently of Richmond, VA, and formerly of West Point, VA, passed away on December 13, 2025, at Manorhouse, due to complications of dementia.
Over the years, Bebe fondly recalled growing up in Mathews, VA. After her marriage to Bob Walsh, they raised their family in West Point.
She was an artist for her entire adult life and created a number of ribbon-worthy pieces. While living in West Point, she was a member of the Junior Women's Club and the West Point Art Club. Those who knew her thought of her as a fun-loving friend who was always glad to see you.
Bebe was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Bob. "Bebe and Bob", "Bob and Bebe" were names that always went together during the entire time living in West Point. Additionally, Bebe was preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn Hudgins, and her father, Robert Hudgins; as well as her brother, Robert "Boots" Hudgins of Gloucester Point, VA. She is survived by her children, Kathi Judy (John), Sue Sturtz (Wayne) and Bobby Walsh (Karen); her grandsons, Ryan Judy (Peyton), Patrick Judy (Jennifer), Adam Sturtz (Patty), Andrew Sturtz (Anna), and Robert Walsh; her great-grandchildren, Bowen, Grier, Thomas and Riley; along with special friends, Patricia Athy and Donna Clay, who are thanked for their many years of love and service to the family. The family would also like to thank the staff of Manorhouse Assisted Living and Memory Care, especially Lakeia, for the exceptional love and care at the end of Bebe's life.
The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, December 18th, at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th St., West Point, VA 23181. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home, with interment following in St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery, West Point, VA. Memorials may be made to VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, Box 843042, Richmond, VA 23284-3042, or to Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047, in memory of Roberta "Bebe" Walsh.
