Robin Lafon Obituary
A service and celebration of Robin's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 14 at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 11220 Nuckols Road, Glen Allen, Va. 23059. Memorial contributions may be made in Robin's memory to pet rescues and homeless shelters.

Robin performed the marriage of my husband and I in August 2016. She was so amazing! She made such an impact on both of us! She brought so much joy to our special day! We will remember her forever! Sending many thoughts and prayers to her family!

I am so sad to lose this bright light of a person on this earth! Robin was always ready to share hard won wisdom and offer support. I respected her as an authentic minister of the gospel and as a friend. I know she is experiencing the full communion of heaven, but we sure are going to miss her here and now.

The ultimate sadness is learning about losing a genuine, dedicated person. Robin was compassionate, talented, and dedicated to helping others, human or animal. Last year she called me about four homeless kittens that needed fostering, and today they all have forever homes. That is what she did; she put the pieces together to make a better picture. I extend sincere condolences to Robin's family and everyone who knew this beautiful lady. Another angel will be around the throne, but our world will have a void.

I am so saddened to hear of Robin's passing. She was my best friend when I was living in Richmond and I loved her and all the support she gave me. I wish I had seen her more often since I moved away but we kept in touch through FB and texts. I wanted to offer my sincere condolences to her family. She was such a bright light and her presence will be dearly missed.
