Ronnie Caviness Obituary

CAVINESS Ronnie W. Caviness, 66, died August 27, 2006, at his home in Powhatan. He is survived by his wife, Jenive; son, Wayne Caviness of Delaware; stepsons, J.C. Carter and wife, Pati of Pendleton and Dean Carter of California; grandchildren, Cody Duval, Brent Carter, Derek Carter; brothers, Buddy Caviness and wife, Norma of Luray; Mickey Caviness of Harrisburg; half-brother, Kenneth Wade of Lynchburg; and half-sisters, Joyce McBride of Florida and Sue Drumheller of Monroe. Mr. Caviness was a veteran of the United States Air Force. The family will receive friends Tuesday (tonight) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rte. 60), Powhatan. A graveside service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. in the Spring Grove Memorial Gardens, Mineral.

Ronnie was my friend. We were Local 88 brothers and traveled together over the years for work, played golf together and spent time just being friends. I'm so sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

Mrs. Caviness, Adam and Family- Ronnie was a lifeline through out the years when we couldn't be together. I will miss his emails and him. Take care of his best friend Adam and his lifetime love- Jenny.
