I was shocked and very suprised to hear of Ruth's death. I am Julia Clark's daughter-in-law and have been in your wonderful mother's company many times. Years ago we used to bump into both of your parents outside St. Edmond's Church at Rehoboth. They were always so much fun to talk to and the friendliest people I ever met.
A few years ago we picked up my mother-in-law who had spent a week in Florida with your mother. Ruth gave us the most wonderful grapefruits to take with us to Sarasota where we would be spending the week.
Recently, I was visiting my mother-in-law and your mom and Marian were there, too. Ruth always was so full of life and always seemed to be so much younger than her age.
My sympathy to all of you children; your mother certainly was a jewel and I know you will be lost without her. I know my mother-in-law will miss her so much.
