Sharon Coe Hall, 73, of Glen Allen, Va., passed away on October 25, 2025, leaving a legacy of warmth, intelligence, and dedication. She was born in Bethesda, Md. on November 25, 1951. She was preceded in death by her father Fred W Haxton Sr, and her mother Georgiana P Haxton. Her life was marked by her bright spirit and her commitment to others.

After earning her Bachelor's Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Sharon built a successful career in the health insurance industry. She was a dedicated leader culminating in her role as Staff Vice President of Provider Communications for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Her professionalism influenced countless colleagues over the years. She was a mentor to many, and had a gift for making everyone feel heard and valued. She was known for her quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, and a love for animals, especially the dogs she provided a loving and safe home throughout her life.

While her career was a great source of pride, Sharon's greatest joy was her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Hall; her brother, Fred Haxton Jr.; sister-in-law, Christine Haxton; niece, Scotia Haxton; nephew, Ian Haxton; and cousins Susan Clarke, Peggy Anderson Dail, Sally Johnson, Linda Powers, Nancy Busch, Dave Anderson and beloved Joanne Farley.

Her family and friends will honor her remarkable life with a celebration of her legacy and contributions. A Memorial Service will be held in Sharon's honor, 1 p.m., Friday November 7, 2025 at at Bliley's Funeral Home, 3801 Augusta Ave. Sharon will be remembered for her warmth, spirit, and commitment to her family and profession.
