Steve Quesenberry Obituary

Steve Graham Quesenberry

February 16, 1961 - August 28, 2025

He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Quesenberry; and his brother, Douglas.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Quesenberry of Richmond, Va.; and his sister, Jo Ann Davis of Kitty Hawk, N.C. He is survived by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and "special" aunts, Carolyn and Pat; and his very special friend, Shawn of Las Vegas. Steve loved storytelling and his sense of humor entertained us, especially when he shared his story of adults at his church when he was a child. He had a great desire for reading, other cultures, history, and science. He loved watching old black and white movies and listening to country music. He loved traveling and living in different places, including England, but his favorite was Chicago. He could turn a "house" into a "home" filled with love. Whenever we visited him, he gave us an itinerary so as to get the most from our visit. He loved his family and made our time together special. We feel blessed to have had him as a son and brother.

I knew of Steve through his mother Ann ... such a fine lady .... she spoke of Steve, Douglas and their sister Jo Ann often ... and his dad Joe attended many faculty functions at Clover Hill High School .... to Ann ... I know what it is like to outlive younger family members ... Ann, my thoughts (and I am certain those of many in the Clover Hill family) are with you ... Wes Childress
