Susan Coltes

Susan Weagley Coltes, 79, of Hague, Va., formerly of Highland Springs and Sandston, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. She attended Highland Springs High School and worked for American Tobacco Company in logistics, shipping and receiving. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank "Jimmy" and Hazel Weagley; nephew, "Ricky" Lawson; grandson, Scott Rushing; and grandnephew, Damian Jennings. She is survived by her husband, Joseph T. Coltes; children, John Rushing (Susan), James Rushing (Jennifer) and Garland Rushing; sisters, Deborah Stidham (Troy) and Lisa Vanderberg (Bobby); eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 7, 2025, from 5 to 6 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231, where a service will immediately follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
