Thomas Casey Obituary
September 26, 1939 - March 10, 2025
Thomas Joseph Casey unexpectedly passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 10, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Susan; four daughters, Virginia, Lynn, Heather, and Valerie; five granddaughters; and a great-grandson. Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 26, 1939. He graduated from LaSalle University having completed the ROTC program in 1961. He entered the U.S. Army, serving until 1968 and achieving the rank of Major. Tom met his wife, Susan, at a karate club in 1970. They were married in 1972. Tom and Sue moved to Columbus, OH in 1973 when Tom went to work for Reynolds Metals as a marketing manager. In 1977 he was moved to Midlothian, VA. Tom resigned from Reynolds in 1981 and started his own home improvement company which he managed until his death. Tom will forever be remembered by his family and friends for his devotion to and love for his family, his quick wit, and ability to create spontaneous laughter no matter where he was or who he was with.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 11th, at Salisbury Presbyterian Church, 13621 Salisbury Road, Midlothian, VA 23113. For more information and to leave online condolences, please visit Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel's website.
